Content Management

Our CMS technology is based on the Open Source platforms of Zope & Plone. These powerful systems do not need any special software except a browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox etc). Some of the things you can do with these systems:

• Add private only pages for you clients
• Upload documents for sharing: either internally, for clients or for the general public.

Mobile

We recognised a long time ago that the mobile platform was going to become very important in all our lives. To this end we set up a specialist team to address an expansion in this area. The mobile platform and devices cannot be ignored by business and must be integrated into the heart of the tools and systems which help a business run smoothly. We have helped several clients find innovative mobile solutions, such as:

• Working with InAMobile to create imaging solutions for several large mobile operators, including: Vodafone, Orange, O2. The solutions include getting postcards printed from pictures taken with a mobile phone to mobile phone photography applications.
• Also with InAMobile, we have developed a photo-blogging platform. Companies such as Granada Sky have taken this platform.
• We have created several SMS applications: including mobile business directory search (www.83211.com), SMS voting applications used in Miss GB and other events and a mobile marketing platform (www.mobi.co.uk)

We are in a major development cycle at the moment and are producing products to serve the following areas:

• Taking images with mobile phone devices, adding additional content and integrating into relevant database systems

Hosting

We do not offer "a pile them high and sell them cheap" deal. We offer hosting and 24x7 support to our clients who need to know that we will be there if they pick up the phone at any time of the day. We can only do this by offering hosting to our specific clients, usually for software developments that we have worked on for them. We do offer hosting to other clients if there is a good fit for them and us.

Fry-IT personnel have over 20 years of combined experience with 24x7 Internet service operations, network health maintenance and day-to-day server system administration. Our team has delivered Highly Available systems for a number of clients, with hardware and network monitoring, off-site backup, support and disaster recovery in place.

We are small to medium sized company that realises the importance of support and the value of a personal service. We feel a duty to care for our clients and make sure that we are there for them when they need us. We have created our own issue-tracker system that enables our clients to easily get in touch with us about any problems or issues they might have. For hosting and emergency problems we have a 24x7 phone support answered by human beings.

Products

SnapExpense: End of Q1 2008 we are going to launch SnapExpense. The main purpose in developing this travel and expense tool was to offer an extremely easy to use product that allows a dramatic speed-up in processing expense claims within SME's. This product can either be used as a stand-alone solution or integrated into an existing accounting system (for example Sage). CAMHS Reportage: Since middle of 2005 we are running a specialist patient record system for Child and Adolescent Mental Health called CAMHS Reportage. This system has been deployed successfully in 10 trusts and with the uncertainty of the National Program it offers a very reliable alternative. The key emphasis when developing this product has been on helping trusts with their annual CAMHS-mapping exercise. One trust coined it "mapping at the touch of a button". Not only do we use Open Source in almost all our technical solutions, we also contribute back to the world-wide Open Source community. We have numerous Open Source projects in Zope such as the IssueTrackerProduct. We are dedicated to deployment of GNU/Linux in all of our server infrastructure.
