Oxfam Ploneability Event

Fry-IT attended a very stimulating event at Oxfam GB which explored the uses of plone within the NGO and public sector areas.

This was a very well attended event in the lovely new Oxfam headquarters in Oxford. Some very interesting presentations were given by a variety of NGO's and member's of the plone community. It was very clear that the community and sharing/open source aspects of Plone were major factors in Oxfam's choice of technology for their Content Management System (CMS).

Fry-IT director Zahid Malik commented: "I really enjoyed this event and met a lot of very commited people who see the advantages of Open Source and the Plone technology to NGOs and the public sector."
